Lockdown 04:21
Lockdown Verse 1 No pubs, no football, no concerts, no punani; lots of restrictions are being enforced on everyone's life. Chorus Lockdown: can’t go out - government won't let me out! It feels like I'm in prison. The mission is to keep the nation safe, but this is bringing division between families. Verse 2 Conventional families are destroyed, relationships are strained. Corona is like a reset button for all people: stay in and communicate. Chorus Lockdown: can’t go out - government won't let me out! It feels like I'm in prison. The mission is to keep the nation safe, but this is bringing division between families. Verse 3 We're at a pivotal point now; discussions are ongoing about easing the lockdown - the possibility of wearing face masks. This situation could be the new lifestyle. Chorus Lockdown: can’t go out - government won't let me out! It feels like I'm in prison. The mission is to keep the nation safe, but this is bringing division between families.

Drunk in power Verse 1 The top advisers for the person in power supposedly advised him to monitor Corona early but, unfortunately, due to poor judgement, he ignored the advice; the citizens of United Kingdom are definitely up a creek without a paddle. Chorus This person must think he's a famous literature character with a license to kill. Death toll is high. Corona doesn't discriminate - once you get it you're brown bread - dead. Verse 2 The government is in disarray; the leader is in hospital. Maybe he'll appreciate the NHS more and give funding. At the moment, lack of personal protection equipment needs to be looked at. Instead of clapping for the NHS, fund it more. Chorus This person must think he's a famous literature character with a license to kill. Death toll is high. Corona doesn't discriminate - once you get it you're brown bread - dead. Verse 3 When push comes to shove, money makes the world go round. A scheme called furlough came, supposedly to help the every day man’s business- now it’s being used to prop up rich people's empires at the tax payer’s expense. Chorus This person must think he's a famous literature character with a license to kill. Death toll is high. Corona doesn't discriminate - once you get it you're brown bread - dead.

Government Recession Every time that you watch the telly or listen to the radio You hear about how people need to tighten up their belts How food prices or alcohol prices have gone up Or how there’s no money to keep a kids skate park open Chorus What makes me laugh Is that the government is insisting on benefit cuts They are reforming the benefit system They also reduce funding for resources, left, right and centre Ironically the same government are giving a military funeral to a milk snatcher Verse 2 I keep hearing about this ‘big society’ – what is that??? Is it jobs for all that can work? Erm – No!! They also say some waffle about equal opportunities I can remember times where I have gone to interviews Surprise, surprise – I am still unemployed Chorus What makes me laugh Is that the government is insisting on benefit cuts They are reforming the benefit system They also reduce funding for resources, left, right and centre Ironically the same government are giving a military funeral to a milk snatcher Verse 3 My view on government is to get the MP’s to live on the hand outs that they give to people, government says how they want jobs for British people, thats funny I’m British and I can’t find work – wait a minute I forgot I’m disabled. The government seems to tax all people apart from the rich. They remind of the plot from Robin Hood: tax the poor, give it to the rich. Chorus What makes me laugh Is that the government is insisting on benefit cuts They are reforming the benefit system They also reduce funding for resources, left, right and centre Ironically the same government are giving a military funeral to a milk snatcher

BREXIT 07:16
BREXIT Verse 1 The British referendum happened and it was virtually a landslide victory for the Conservatives. Why would anyone vote for Boris Johnson, the fella has a mop head, he brings dread in my opinion as his party has got an overwhelming majority to wield his authority, with no one to challenge him as he methodically sells the NHS. Chorus Britain in my opinion is like the titanic; last time I checked the titanic sunk. NHS struggling, both financially and personnel jobs are going, qualified staff are working abroad, security services jobs and budgets are being slashed; you want to control immigration. Instead of austerity cuts and getting cheap labour; put some apprenticeships, bring back national service. Verse 2 No police, more crime, more stabbings, no youth centres; unemployment is high, no apprenticeships, not a lot of students seems to be willing to go to university; let me think, by the time a student finishes their course, they have a noose around their neck its called student debt. I believe education is a free commodity, that increases the quality of the life of the individual by giving them a good house, more money. Now education seems to be going to the minority or to those who have got rich benefactors. Verse 3 Britain will probably have another Bank Holiday; Independence Day; nice one- Britain will now be in control of its own destiny; i don’t know what the future holds but in my opinion you are stronger when you work together and united, not divided; also nearly everything that people will buy, will be expensive as all produce and products that Britain uses are imported.

Suicide Rates Verse 1 When I hear employers stating that the right applicants are not being found for the specific job it doesn't surprise me - the solution open the migration floodgates - then complain about there not being enough jobs for British people. Chorus Due to the abundance of potential job applicants lack of ability of stringing comprehensive sentences together, also the inability of doing mental arithmetic - some bright spark in government has come up with a proposal of revamping the educational system - why??? I dunno all I know is the suicide rates will go higher Verse 2 I was always brought up to believe that if you do well in your education and once you get a decent qualification you'll get a good job with decent pay Okay, I know a lot of people who have degrees who are unemployed - alternatively other people get the necessary qualifications and then work abroad Chorus Due to the abundance of potential job applicants lack of ability of stringing comprehensive sentences together, also the inability of doing mental arithmetic - some bright spark in government has come up with a proposal of revamping the educational system - why??? I dunno all I know is the suicide rates will go higher Verse 3 This is my opinion, bring back apprenticeships I heard that they used to work, give everyone including disabled people the chance to work, increase the minimum wage and decrease the tax. Chorus Due to the abundance of potential job applicants lack of ability of stringing comprehensive sentences together, also the inability of doing mental arithmetic - some bright spark in government has come up with a proposal of revamping the educational system - why??? I dunno all I know is the suicide rates will go higher
